Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience
Must be locally available in Qatar with No Objection Certificate with current Sponsor and can join immediately.
Preferably with Oil & Gas Industry Experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of Business Plans & Annual Budgets for all divisions of IS in line with company policy, procedures, guidelines & set timelines.
Prepare periodical Financial Reports of IS divisions for timely performance analysis – to be reviewed by Head (OIB) and submission to IS management.
Participate in the development and implementation of effective Business Support policies and procedures for IS to ensure timely and effective business support is provided to IS operations in compliance with company vision & values.
Support Head (OIB) in ensuring company vision and values are depicted in all aspects of business support extended to IS management and divisions.
Support Head (OIB) in providing timely recommendations with justifications to IS management on cost effectiveness / optimization measures based on periodical cost analysis.
Qualification, Experience & Skills
Over 10 years of experience preferably with at least 4 years in supervisory position with relevant work experience in a
similar position including Business Planning and Economics, Management / Financial Accounting, Reporting, Budgeting,
Planning and Costing functions preferably in Oil and Gas Industry.
Professional Qualifications is preferable such as ACA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA.
Expertise in management accounting with good analytical skills and knowledge of financial models, business models and
feasibility studies (NPV, IRR, SWOT analysis, balance score card etc.).
Good interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, communication, managerial, influence and presentation skills.
Good command of English language is essential (verbal and written skills).
Knowledge in Microsoft applications and good working experience in integrated database system is essential (SAP preferred).
Works with confidentiality, integrity and ethics; follows policies and procedures of the Corporation; proactive, innovative, improvising and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ability to effectively manage diverse, virtual and multi-cultural task force. Readily available to assimilate information and highly flexible in approach to adjust in changing environment.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance/Economics or Science, from an accredited University. Masters / Management Degree or Equivalent would be preferable.
