Job Purpose:

  • To plan and coordinate both preventive and corrective maintenance on all instrumentation and control equipment in a timely and effective manner in order to minimize down time and ensure a continuously operating plant and aid Instrumentation Supervisor in achieving maintenance plans.

Job Description:

Day-to-day Operations

  • Complete the PPM Planner with appropriate coordination with Operations team for equipment availabilities. Plan for changeover of running equipment based on the schedule to complete the PM activities.
  • Attend the C&I complaints raised by Operations, perform fault finding and rectification with the Instrumentation Supervisor’s assistance as required by considering the operation methodologies.
  • Handle different types of calibrators & tools as per the field requirement.
  • Attend and rectify chiller/PLC/BMS control and instrumentation-related breakdown jobs.
  • Ensure appropriate usage and storage of material and equipment in hand. Keep proper tracking for the requested spares/consumables.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed with respect to maintaining log / activities books, materials received from stores, material usage etc.
  • Review as-built drawings, P&I drawings of the district cooling plant equipment or components from an operation and maintenance perspective.
  • Understand RO system control philosophy and functioning principle of chilled water leak detection system.
  • Perform yearly calibration of instruments including HART, Fieldbus etc. of plant/ETS/Network control equipment.
  • Assist in identifying safety and other potential hazards so that appropriate steps can be taken to overcome the issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/Industrial training certificate in Instrumentation

Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role and industry
