RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement career development programs such as the high potential and summer internship programs under the guidance of the Head of Career Development Qatar in order to ensure the continuous development of Dolphin Energy’s national talent.
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of Dolphin Energy’s job ladders and career paths ensuring it is properly communicated and explained.
Assist employees in development and determine the proper type of plan: IDP, CEP, ODP, PIP in conjunction with the HR Strategic Partner based on their development needs, available training programs, and function requirements in order to ensure alignment with business needs and the development of national talent.
Monitor employee progress against developed personal development plans in conjunction with HR Business Partners through periodic meetings providing counseling and recommending future actions to ensure attainment of career development objectives.
Report to the Head of Career Development Qatar on the development progress of national talent and identify potential opportunities for further career development through ensuring competency gaps are closed in a structured manner via a range of appropriate methods.
Liaise with HR Business Partners in order to provide information and assistance about career development programs within Dolphin Energy.
Maintain the development database outlining the current development plan progress and maintain proper records and reports in order to keep various stakeholders continuously appraised of the career development activity details.
Review periodically the effectiveness of the career development program and suggest measures for improvement.
Support the Head of Career Development Qatar in the development of a Career Development Manual for the division clearly outlining the set processes and procedures.
Schedule milestone presentations to senior management in order to ensure relevant data and information are communicated to ease decision making.
Participate and assist in the succession planning campaigns providing the Head of Career Development Qatar with the required support to ensure ease of implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Educational Requirements /
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related area from a recognized university.
Minimum Experience: 5 years relevant experience in human resources.
Experience with Succession Planning, Career Path and Development
Preferably Speaks Arabic
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent PC skills, especially excel, word and PowerPoint.
Good counseling skills
Excellent written and oral communication in English.
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Good analytical skills.
