PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Support Tempered Cooling Water Project team , construction team, Contractors, Subcontractors and Vendor Specialists (as required) to ensure that all works are performed in accordance with Company procedures, specifications codes & standards, within the schedule, and meeting the Quality and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Understand work scope, quantity and familiar with logical sequences in terms of engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction disciplines.
• Understand WBS structure, and work with management and project/maintenance team in the development of work break down structure for progress measurement, scheduling, cost estimating and project control.
• Understand contractual matter, scope management and change control.
• Ability to analyze and understand procedures, resolving contractual issues to come up with sound judgment.
• Technically strong in project Planning, Scheduling. Calculation and Reporting.
• Review Subcontract Agreement, Purchase Order, Change & Work Orders specially the price and unit rate.
• Understand the project requirements and develop a site construction planning strategy that will achieve the desired results within the given constraints
• Develop a detailed construction schedule that takes into account all of the necessary tasks, resources, dependencies, and risks
• Manage and monitor the construction schedule on a regular basis, making adjustments as needed to ensure that the project stays on track
• Coordinate with the project manager, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the construction planning process is aligned with the overall project goals
• Identify potential risks and issues associated with the construction process and develop mitigation plans to address them
• Support in procuring the necessary materials and equipment for the construction project in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Supervise the construction workers and contractors to ensure that they are adhering to the approved plans and specifications
• Keep accurate records of the construction progress and costs incurred for future reference and analysis
• Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to identify any potential safety hazards
• Prepare reports and presentations on the construction planning process and outcomes for senior management
Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering major is preferred.

Experience:
• Minimum 8 years’ experience as Planner in hydrocarbon / petrochemical /Power plant EPC field is desired. (Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, etc.)
• Engineering & Construction company working experience in Middle East is preferred
• Must have 5 years working Experience in Primavera (P6).
